Columbus City Ballet School offers students a high artistic standard and wonderful performing opportunities that enable them to improve their stage presentations and enjoy dance.

December Performance

CINDERELLA'S CHRISTMAS, children’s fairy tale ballet will be presented at the Riffe Center-Capitol Theater on December 6, 2008 at 3:30pm. Tickets: $25 and $23. Please call 614-384-0222 or 614-634-3992 for ticket information.

Spring Recital

• Each year CCBS will present “I LOVE DANCE” Spring Recital the second weekend of June to provide a performance opportunity for students. Tickets on sale at May 15.
• Costumes for the Spring recital must be paid in full by November 10 each year.
• A $25 extra fee will be charged for rush costume orders and postage after the due date.
• A $20 exchange fee for a larger costume will be charged. Parents, please tell your child to order one size larger than their current size for the spring recital costume as your child will grow.
• 1/2 costume deposit is due at registration. Students in 2 to 3 classes who purchase 2 to 3 costumes or more may arrange payment in 3 periods. The first payment is due at registration, second payment in October, and full payment on November 10.
• No credit or refund is given if the student does not finish the year. We will request that he/she come to the school to pick up their costumes. CCBS offers a recital/production photo taken by an official photographer in April.
• A minimum production fee of $100 is charged for ballets such as Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella to cover production costs, costuming, and rehearsal instructors. Regular class time is not used for production rehearsals. All productions need extra rehearsal time for students to learn the choreography and be polished.
