Columbus City Ballet Workshop

Columbus City Ballet Workshop is a nonprofit preprofessional performing company for serious and talented advanced young dancers. The ensemble members have the opportunity to work with guest choreographers and rehearse and perform original ballet and contemporary repertoire.

Past years’ repertoire included Carnival of the Animals, La Bayadère Act 1 Scene 3, Dancing Princesses, Pas de Quatre, Trio des Odalisques, La Habanera, Paquita, and Concerto for Violin and Strings. Sleeping Beauty Act 3 will be included in the future. CCBS has a Senior and Junior ensemble and “Dance Connection.” Auditions are required to participate.
